I fell in love with the cover image and bought this novel on March. But the 550 pages made me think twice every time I wanted to read the story behind that amazing cover.
Couple days ago I tried to make myself sure to read it. Well, guess what?
The first 10 pages amazed me and I can's stop flip the next pages and I can't even stop my eyes to read for about 6 hours until midnight.
Well, the story is about guardians, some creatures that protect humans from demons that collecting humans' soul to increase their power and eternality.
The main character is a 16 years old girl, named Lil. She lived with her grampa and lived a normal living until she discover what his grampa hid from her.
She never knew that she has a super power as a guardian--and her grampa is a major of the guardian cardinal--until she met a demon guy, Bran.
Days gone by and she learned to accept the fact that she's a guardian--and Bran is a demon that must be her enemy.
But Bran was just asking for Lil's help to save his family from the demons. It made Lil sure that Bran as a demon wasn't going to hurt her.
That was about the adventure of Bran to face the guardian cardinal and fight with a demons for his mother and brothers, and how Lil fights for Bran's heart... It's gonna melt your heart off <3
Well, Bran Llyr, the demon guy with six-pack body and black wings has made me imagine how charm he is.
Anyway, he's a demon. But he's too perfect to be a demon. Shit, even fiction life isn't fair.

Unexpectedly, I couldn't stop reading until the last page and the 550 pages were just a number.
And
even I finished it now, I still want to read over and over again. The
second book is "Betrayed", I'm gonna get it on the bookstore asap.
